I occasionally ask participants to share some feedback for the sake of people coming to the site. Here are some of the shares I have received.

The retreat in Sedgefield with Rick was beyond words. I cannot explain how intense and deeply moving the ayahuasca experience was. Rick was there with us every step of the way, preparing us well for what was to be as well as during our journeys and afterwards. Rick is an experienced Shaman who led us gently into our first session preparing us well for the second journey. Ayahuasca is a very deep and personal journey but I felt completely safe travelling this road with Rick. Rick is gentle and kind with a very deep kind soul who's knowledge and advise was endless Thank you Rick and Mary.

I did my first ever Medicine retreat in the cape with Rick. It was totally life transforming for me. I was dubious as it was a last resort, to actually jumping off a cliff. The medicine opened my eyes to self worth and patience and letting go of unnecessary attachments. My group were awesome. Rick was attentive and caring, and so much wisdom for a man so young. Namaste. Sometimes you meet wonderful, kind people who are very good at what they do - Rick and his wife Mary are perfect examples of this. I was fortunate enough to go on a retreat with Rick and all throughout the weekend he was thoughtful, and gentle - a real guide - to help me through my Ayahuasca journey. And simply a fountain of knowledge whilst at the same time not pandering to the excuses we give ourselves. As a female, alone on a retreat - there could not have been a more perfect setting. Mary cooked the most delicious, nourishing meals and our group were gently guided through each aspect of the retreat. We also had a spectacular look at the Milky Way after the second ceremony! How lucky are we that Rick is doing this!? I will be back again.

I have attended private and group ceremonies with Rick. He holds space in ceremony and integration in a way that is kind, compassionate and safe. Rick has immersed himself in study and practice with Shipibo masters and this translates in the authentic way he lives his life. I highly recommend his ceremonies!

I knew certain things weren’t right in my life - and I thought I knew what they were from therapy, psychedelic experiences and a lot of dedication to self inquiry… my mind believed it had all the answers and my ego prided itself on being able to figure everything out. Turns out I really had no idea about most things and had myself fooled. Rick guided me through the tricks of my mind. He was there for me every step of the way, as the medicine taught me to truly sink into vulnerability and my heart. It wasn’t easy but it was necessary. I was torn apart and rebuilt. Rick and this medicine saved my life, and there’s really no other way to put it. I was walking a path of pain, separation and destruction. Ayahuasca has taught me things I know nothing else could have. The medicine showed me a liberating truth, one that there can be no going back from - the transformative impact will last forever. I would highly recommend this to anyone… It was the most profound and healing experience of my life. I could never have imagined how much I was truly carrying, what my attachments were, and how to be truly free and build new peace. I’m so grateful for your service to the world, Rick. Thank you for devoting yourself in this way. Your spirit, your heart, your expression and your connection with Mother Ayahuasca are truly sacred.

We had a small group. I am blown away by the power I experienced in this process with this group. The intensity of the bonds created in this process was quite unexpected and surprising. I found answers I was looking for in the Ayahuasca. Not what I expected at all but definitely the answers I needed. It is so difficult to put the experience in words but I can say I got so much more than I ever expected from the weekend. Thanks to Rick and Mary for creating the safe space for this to happen and their guidance through the process.

Undertaking this journey with Rick and Mary is hands down the most enlightening and life changing thing I have ever done. Throughout the entire weekend you are cared for, not only with the delicious food Mary prepares but also the sage advice, wisdom and experience Rick lovingly shares. There is no judgement, no right or wrong just an unconditional acceptance of each person and a gentle nudging to be true to yourself. I felt safe and loved the whole weekend. I will definitely undertake another journey with Rick in the future.
