About Me
My journey to Ayahuasca was through the most profound personal healing.
The medicine was very clear that I needed to study further and immerse myself in this practice.
Initiation
For my formal initiation I spent 2 months in the Amazon in Peru at InkanKena school and studied under Don Enrique Lopez.
My Icaros that I will be singing in ceremony have been passed down through Enrique’s line.
Upon returning from the jungle I studied for a year under the mentorship of a well respected local curandero. Co-facilitating retreats allowed me to find my feet with large groups and refine my craft while having the support of someone with a wealth of experience.
Huni Kuin
I have also recently had the privilege of studying with Yawa Bane of the Huni Kuin. I shared 8 ceremonies assisting alongside Bane in 2021 and felt a deep calling to study further with his people. I have been invited to join Bane in his home village of Lago Lindo in 2022 to complete my initiation into the Huni Kuin tradition.
